CONGRATULATIONS!

Dear Competitor,

Congratulations, you did it! You competed in the inaugural Abu Dhabi International Triathlon, we hope you had as much fun at the event as we had putting it on for you. As the race organisers we would like to give each and every one of you a pat on the back for taking part in it.

Here in our post race newsletter you will find details about results, thank you's, the opportunity to provide us with feedback and some great photos of the day.

A BIG THANK YOU

As organisers we most importantly want to thank you all for competing, without you there wouldn't be an event. We hope that you will return for years to come.

We would also like to extend further thanks to Abu Dhabi for providing such a magnificent backdrop for the event, the Abu Dhabi Police Authority for delivering the event road closures and finally to all the volunteers who gave up their weekend to help navigate you round the event and the course. The famed hospitality of the region was certainly on show.

Finally, to all the sponsors, venues and media partners that provided essential components of the big day.

RACE DAY RESULTS / TIMINGS

Congratulations to Eneko Llanos (ESP) and Julie Dibens (GBR) who both took home the $50,000 first prize for winning the Elite Long Course titles. This is no mean feat considering the quality of both the men's and women's fields which have been described as being only second to those found at the World Championships in Kona.

However, the race is not just about the Elites but also to each and every one of the Long Distance, Short Distance and Relay Teams who made up the 800 strong field. We have worked on the timings and the complete set can be found by clicking on the links below:

We hope that you will want to return to the race in 2011. We will email you when the new event date is released.

As you know this was the debut year for the event and we hope that you will return. In order for us to make it even bigger and better in 2011 we would greatly appreciate any feedback that you have, good or bad.
